Specialised Training Programme (STP)

PITAD conducts a comprehensive, 9 months Specialised Training Program (STP) for newly inducted Commerce and Trade Group officers of the Civil Service of Pakistan. The STP aims to equip the officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to managing international trade and commercial diplomacy. Till now, 17 batches have successfully completed STP and the 18th batch has joined in November 2009. The subject areas covered under the training are as follows:

  1. International Trade Theory
  2. Pakistan’s Economy & Foreign Trade
  3. Multilateral Trading Systems
  4. Trade Development in Pakistan
  5. Managing Export Marketing of Pakistan
  6. Management
